They created a beautiful and traditional wedding that the couple and their guests will remember forever. We got to speak with Craig from White Marquee about the details and highlights of the day.

On Saturday, 14th March 2015, Phuong-Uyen and Long ignited their everlasting love, as they became husband and wife. The day was very special as it was also their ten-year anniversary. The white wedding was held outdoors at the South Australian Museum, which is situated on the Armoury Courtyard and Lawns in Adelaide. The wedding was illuminated with bright sunshine and picture-perfect décor. The couple celebrated a decade of love, laughter and memories with their family and friends.

Phoung-Uyen described falling in love with Long; “I was going down the escalator at my local shopping mall when Long couldn’t take his eyes off of me… It was at that moment we both knew it was love at first sight.”

The couple’s romantic wedding consisted of soft, whimsical elements to portray a dreamy, magical ambience. From the stunning décor to the classic furniture and styling, there was a huge emphasis on the colour white. Thanks to White Marquee Event Hire, Phuong-Uyen and Long’s dream wedding was built under a grand 15mx20m marquee pavilion that featured luscious white drapes and crystal chandeliers. The chairs were from White Marquee Event Hire’s ‘Chiavari’ range, which added elegance and class to the room. The dance floor, furniture and lighting were all sourced from White Marquee Event Hire while Lush Stylin executed the finishing touches.

“I couldn’t have been happier with the overall outcome of our special day… The simplicity of the set-up and elegant styling was the perfect touch to this momentous day and something I will never forget,” says Phuong-Uyen.

Phuong-Uyen wore a stunning fitted dress from Caleche, with her bridesmaids dressed in Keepsake, continuing on the white theming. Long looked equally radiant in a classic tux from Ted Baker, paired with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie. 
Lush Stylin and Flowers By Ashley arranged the gorgeous florals and Heidelberg Cakes made the white, three-tier cake. Phuong-Uyen and Long will always remember their special day thanks to wonderful images and footage captured by Jason Wong Photography and Captivate Films. 

“The best part of the day was definitely walking down the aisle and seeing Long’s face – one of the happiest days of my life,” says Phuong-Uyen.
